Stay awake, stay alert, stay alive! The coffee break that could save your life!
Main: It is time for an espresso coffee!
Many people drink espresso coffee. Many people can’t drink enough of it. It is rich and bitter. Espresso or cappuccino work the same. In the morning, hear the espresso rummaging in the brain and tummy. Have another espresso later. It may keep you alive.
Coffee is known for its stimulating effects. Long before it became a beverage the green beans were used by the African people as a mild stimulant.
A spokesperson for the Traffic Authority said, this way is a lowering of the incidence of fatigue-related road crashes over the holiday period – take a break; have a mug of coffee.
Many crashes, especially on country roads, occur when drivers run off the road; or wander on the wrong side of road; or drive through a curve and end up on the wrong side of the road.
Coffee could save a life!
Research tells us, aside from anything else, that when drivers fall asleep at the wheel it results in serious crashes. The end result can be fatalities. “We describe those crashes as fatigue-related,” the spokesperson said.
The holiday period poses a high crash risk and problems that are fraught with danger for those people who drive through the night.
However, Australians can reduce the number of crashes by playing it safe. The only way we can reduce the crashes is offering drivers a safe place to take break. That’s what the ‘coffee break’ project is all about.
The spokesman advised drivers to stop and sleep if the feel drowsy.
Stay awake. Stay alert. Stay alive.

Penfolds tribute to Max
Penfolds wines has rolled out the red carpet to the best all time - wine creator, Max Schubert. Schubert was the creator of the famous Grange Hermitage label in 1951. He was the chief wine maker of Penfolds from 1948 to 1975. And that’s why “Max” is the label of Penfolds Shiraz 2013. A spokesperson said, “that Schubert had no formal oenology training but created the wines that could develop complexity over two decades, setting a benchmark for red wine production nationally.” Here’s a verdict of Max’s Shiraz 2013 by a wine panel. “Praline, blackberry, currants and inky dark elderberry, with hints of nougat oak. Elegance, seamless and growing length.” The Max’s Shiraz score almost 100 per cent. – FM.
Welcome to Jules Verne’s world!
Author Jules Verne’s hero, the British gentlemen Phileas Fogg, proved that he could travel around the world in eighty days. But it was indomitable American reporter Nellie Bly who set out to prove that the voyage could be done in less time! She left from New York on November 14, 1889, and rode on ship, trains, rickshaws, sampans, horses, burros – anything that moved; and 72 days, 6 hours, 11 minutes and 14 seconds later Nellie Bly was back in New York to the biggest fanfare ever! – FM.
