I am a repeat customer. I did the North Island last year and Grand Pacific Tours expertise prompted me to return for the South Island tour. 

Very good tour and just the right number of days. A very comfortable coach with a good system of seat allocation. I enjoyed the TranzAlpine Rail Journey - the main reason for coming to the South Island. Very professional Coach Captain who provided interesting commentaries. The Tour Leader was very friendly and caring. 

Very well organized and run perfectly by Coach Captain and Tour Leader. I really enjoyed every minute. All the accommodation was very comfortable with friendly staff and fantastic meals. The coach was extremely comfortable and clean and fresh every day.  

The trip right from the start was of a highly professional standard. Everything possible was done to ensure that all had a great time. All hotels went our to their way to ensure that we were comfortable. All activities were excellent and great meals over the entire trip. The Coach Captain was a fantastic driver and the Tour Leader an absolute marvel.  

For a first visit to the South Island, I have seen and done a lot more of the island than if I had organised excursions individually. The best way of touring and taking in all activities was with your company. This was my first overseas trip, and it has been everything that I could have ever dreamed of thanks to all the activities, Coach Captain, and Tour Leader. This has been a holiday to remember because of them. 

Although we had intended to book an Ultimate Tour we were not disappointed with the Signature and in fact would recommend this size tour. The coach was kept immaculately clean. The Coach Captain was an exceptionally good driver who entertained us with facts, stories, and anecdotes. The Tour Leader was fabulous and made every endeavour to give us a wonderful holiday. Meals were excellent.

This was our first organised tour and despite the early starts every day we really enjoyed it and saw lots. All aspects were good quality. Hotels were all very good and in good locations. Meals were plentiful, well presented, and plenty of choice at buffets. 

We would certainly recommend Grand Pacific Tours. This was one of the best tours we’ve ever done, everything was just great. Both the Tour Leader and Coach Captain were brilliant and very good food at all hotels.

This has been fabulous. My first coach tour on my own so I was a little unsure as to what it would be like. I felt comfortable and well looked after throughout. Being able to have some downtime to myself was great too. Very friendly group. The Coach Captain and Tour Leader were brilliant throughout – friendly and approachable. I would definitely book a tour again and thoroughly recommend it to all. 

We both agree that the tour met all our expectations. Some days were long, but we knew that when we booked and felt we managed them well. Everything ran to time. The coach was very clean and well maintained. Comfortable seats, plenty of room and a good sound system. It was a very comfortable coach and I really liked how you could charge your device at your seat while touring. The coach was always nice and clean. 

Well done all – the timing of the stops was very good. The choice of stops, itinerary and explanations were excellent. The optional activities were all wonderful – no complaints whatsoever. 

Very good tour, better than I thought it would be. Included attractions were very well run - Milford Sound, TSS Earnslaw and Larnach Castle were all amazing. Our Coach Captain was friendly and safe driver and the Tour Leader a friendly and caring person.

An excellent Tour Leader who always kept things running smoothly and while great at her job was fun, friendly, and helpful to us all. This trip exceeded our expectations. Grand Pacific Tours catered appropriately for the age group. The drivers and Tour Leaders provided well-timed and generous breaks so that at no time did we feel rushed or hassled, which made for a pleasant experience. We feel that we saw and experienced the main tourist spots and important sites of the South Island.

The Coach Captain was a wonderful, safe driver and commentary was always informative and entertaining. He loved the coach like a child, and it was presented each day in its best condition. The Tour Leader was always doing her best to keep everyone happy. She always had a smile on her face and was very accommodating.

A very good programme. We saw a lot of the South Island in a short time, travelling on a beautifully presented, very roomy and comfortable coach. It was wonderful to have phone charging ports. 

The Tour Leader was the hostess with the mostest! We couldn’t have asked for a better leader, she was very caring and attentive to everyone’s needs, nothing was too much trouble – the “BEST.”

The coach trip and extra activities were awesome. Our tour guide and Coach Captain added to the success of the whole trip. The layout of the coach was superb as plenty of room for luggage, leg room and relaxation, plus the seat rotation made it fair.
