Wai Ariki Hot Springs and Spa
Wai Ariki Hot Springs and Spa opened in June 2023 and is the first luxury cultural wellness destination in New Zealand. Owned by the local tribe Ngāti Whakaue, Wai Ariki is nestled on the shores of Lake Rotorua, and built on their legacy of cultural traditions, healing practices and manaakitanga (warm hospitality).
Wai Whakaora Restorative Journey is unique in the world. This 2-hour multisensory therapeutic experience has been purposely curated to relax and rejuvenate the mind, body and soul. Blending cultural commentary with the healing powers of geothermal heat, water, mud and steam, this is a must do wellness experience.
