Itinerary Summary

Begin your adventure in Christchurch, a revitalised and dynamic city with a lively arts scene and diverse outdoor activities. Travel on the Christchurch Tram, a unique experience combining history and the city's key landmarks. Enjoy the change of scenery as you travel on-board the TranzAlpine - celebrated as one of the world's greatest train journeys. Witness the spectacular wonder of Punakaiki Rocks and Blowholes, before continuing on to enjoy beer tastings at Monteith's Brewing Co.

Marvel at the snow-capped peaks of the Southern Alps as you journey through the breathtaking Haast Pass before arriving for a 3-night stay in picturesque Queenstown. Slow down the pace as you explore New Zealand's largest Wine Cave, the charming gold mining village of Arrowtown, and cruise on the vintage TSS Earnslaw across Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak Station where you will indulge in a delicious gourmet dinner. Journey through to either Milford or Doubtful Sound for an unforgettable overnight cruise where you can marvel at the fiord's spectacular waterfalls, rainforests, mountains and wildlife.

Travel via the charming towns of Te Anau and Invercargill on your way to the South Island's hidden treasure, the Catlins. Continue on to the wildlife capital, Dunedin, where you have the opportunity to see a range of rare fauna, as well as the Edwardian and Victorian architecture the city is famous for.
